Bookmatched Panels
Bookmatching is a time consuming method. It consists of re-sawing a board completely through, then opening the board like a book. This creates two almost identical opposing panels. A very pleasing look.

Quadrilinear Posts
In quadrilinear post construction, four pieces of wood are mitered and glued around a center post. This shows the pleasing grain of the wood on all sides of the leg. This method especially highlights the unique medullary ray flakes of quarter sawn oak.

Shiplap Planking
Shiplap planking consists of individual boards that are cut and fit to lock together into each other, creating a pleasing look, while allowing for seasonal wood movement. Used in cabinet and bookcase backs.
