Bookmatched Panels
Bookmatching is a time consuming method. It consists of re-sawing a board completely through, then opening the board like a book.
This creates two almost identical opposing panels. A very pleasing look.

Quadrilinear Posts
In quadrilinear post construction, four pieces of wood are mitered and glued around a center post.
This shows the pleasing grain of the wood on all sides of the leg.
This method especially highlights the unique medullary ray flakes of quarter sawn oak.
